The Lake Oconee Academy Titans triumphed over the visiting Oglethorpe County Patriots softball squad by a count of 9-3 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Titans meet the Lincoln County Red Devils (Lincolnton, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Lake Oconee Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.

The Patriots (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Rabun County (Tiger, GA). The Wildcats enter the 1A D-I Region 8 challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Rabun County was routed by Commerce (Commerce, GA), 15-12, in a league challenge.
