North Hall Trojans (Gainesville, GA) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Lakeside Vikings (Atlanta, GA), 8-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, North Hall upgrades its record to 5-5 on the year. The Trojans host Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA) to play the Indians in a 3A Region 6 game on Monday, August 26. The Indians enter the game with a record of 7-4. Lumpkin County won 15-4 in their recent league game against Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA)

The Vikings now own a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Tri-Cities for a 5A Region 4 game on Tuesday, August 27. Lakeside will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 18-0 league loss to Chamblee (Chamblee, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.
