North Carolina High School Volleyball - Lake Norman over Ashe County

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Lake Norman Wildcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Ashe County Huskies.

The Wildcats (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Porter Ridge beat West Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Huskies meet the Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 26. Ashe County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC).
