In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Bad Axe Hatchets volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Marlette Red Raiders.
The Hatchets (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Ubly (Ubly, MI). The Bearcats come into the non-league challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Ubly beat Haslett (Haslett, MI), 1-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Red Raiders play the Peck Pirates (Peck, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 27. Marlette will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Lutheran North (Macomb, MI).
