In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Cooper Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Benbrook Bobcats.

The Cougars (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Richland (North Richland Hills, TX). The Royals come into the non-league challenge with a 6-8 record. In their last challenge, Richland beat Nimitz (Irving, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats meet the Arlington Heights Yellowjackets (Fort Worth, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 27. Benbrook will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over S & S Consolidated (Sadler, TX).
