Kentucky High School Volleyball - Blazer over Paintsville

The Blazer Tomcats volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Paintsville Tigers to 0 in the Tomcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tomcats now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Pikeville for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 24. Blazer will play a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Belfry (Belfry, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 3-0.

With the defeat, Paintsville moves to 3-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Martin County (Inez, KY) to face the Cardinals in a District 57 test on Monday, August 26. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 4-0.
