Texas High School Volleyball - Katy Taylor tips Bowie

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Katy Taylor Mustangs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Bowie Bulldogs.

The Mustangs (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Mayde Creek (Houston, TX). The Rams come into the 6A Region III District 19 challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Mayde Creek was nudged by Bowie (Austin, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs play the Johnson Jaguars (Buda, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 27. Bowie will attempt to upgrade on its 12-3 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 14-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Austin (Austin, TX).
