In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Thomas Nelson Generals volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers.

The Generals (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Apollo (Owensboro, KY). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Apollo was beaten by Evansville Christian (Evansville, IN), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Fighting Tigers meet the Hancock County Hornets (Lewisport, KY) in a District 11 challenge, on Tuesday, August 27. Breckinridge County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Meade County (Brandenburg, KY).
