Texas High School Volleyball - Clifton tips Robinson

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Clifton Cubs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Robinson Rockets.

The Cubs (9-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Valley Mills (Valley Mills, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Valley Mills got by Rosebud-Lott (Rosebud, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Rockets meet the Riesel Indians (Riesel, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 27. Robinson will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Non Varsity Tournament Opponent (, ).
