Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Colony Knights (Palmer, AK) and the visiting Eagle River Wolves (Eagle River, AK), observed Colony's volleyball team hold off Eagle River by a tally of 1-0.

The Knights (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Palmer (Palmer, AK). The Moose enter the 4A Northern Lights contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Palmer got by Houston (Big Lake, AK), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Wolves meet the Soldotna Stars (Soldotna, AK) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 24. Eagle River will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Stars enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Chugiak (Chugiak, AK).
