The Mount Vernon Mustangs volleyball squad (Atlanta, GA), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Columbus Blue Devils (Columbus, GA)

With the win, Columbus improves its record to 6-8 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Chestatee (Gainesville, GA) to encounter the War Eagles in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 24. The War Eagles go into the battle with a record of 9-2. Chestatee won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Gilmer (Ellijay, GA)
