The Coronado Mustangs volleyball squad (Lubbock, TX), was defeated 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Keller Central Chargers (Keller, TX)

With the win, Keller Central improves its record to 11-5 on the season. The Chargers host Trinity (Euless, TX) to encounter the Trojans in a 6A Region I District 3 battle on Tuesday, August 27. The Trojans go into the battle with a record of 10-8. Trinity won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Stephenville (Stephenville, TX)

The Mustangs now own a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Monterey for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 27. Coronado will encounter a Plainsmen squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Nimitz (Irving, TX). The Plainsmen record now stands at 10-5.
