California High School Volleyball - Yucaipa over Excelsior Charter

The Yucaipa Thunderbirds volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Excelsior Charter Eagles to 0 in the Thunderbirds non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Thunderbirds now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Xavier Prep for a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 27. Yucaipa will play a Saints team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Rancho Christian (Temecula, CA). The Saints record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Excelsior Charter drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Palm Springs (Palm Springs, CA) to play the Indians in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 24. The Indians come into the outing with a record of 3-1. Palm Springs won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Palm Valley (Rancho Mirage, CA)
