In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Gunter Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Monahans Loboes.

The Tigers (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Panther Creek (Frisco, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Panther Creek beat Trinity Leadership (Cedar Hill, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Loboes play the Midland Legacy Rebels (Midland, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 27. Monahans will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 12-10 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Tascosa (Amarillo, TX).
