Texas High School Volleyball - Hondo tips Jay

The Hondo Owls (Hondo, TX) volleyball held off the visiting Jay Mustangs (San Antonio, TX), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Owls now possess a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Comfort for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 27. Hondo will clash with a Bobcats/Deer team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Edison (San Antonio, TX). The Bobcats/Deer record now stands at 8-6.

With the loss, Jay drops to 10-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host McCollum (San Antonio, TX) to clash with the Cowboys in a 5A Region IV District 27 bout on Tuesday, August 27. The Cowboys come into the bout with a record of 6-6. McCollum lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Harlandale (San Antonio, TX)
