Montgomery Bears (Montgomery, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Iola Bulldogs (Iola, TX), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Montgomery improves its record to 10-10 on the season. The Bears travel to Willis (Willis, TX) to face the Wildkats in a non-league test on Saturday, August 24. The Wildkats go into the test with a record of 8-7. Willis lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Oak Ridge (Conroe, TX)

The Bulldogs now own a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Barbers Hill for a non-league test on Saturday, August 24. Iola will face a Eagles squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Belton (Belton, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 6-7.
