In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Lansing Christian Pilgrims volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Lee Legends.

The Pilgrims (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Perry (Perry, MI). The Ramblers come into the Central Michigan challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Perry was beaten by Pinckney (Pinckney, MI), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Legends meet the Algoma Christian Knights (Kent City, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 24. Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 0-0 record after their 0-0 non-league Libertas Christian (Hudsonville, MI).
