The Martins Ferry Purple Riders volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Steubenville Big Red to 1 in the Purple Riders non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Purple Riders now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Beaver for a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 27.
