The Winfield Pirates volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Shoals Christian Flame to 1 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Pirates now have a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Fayette County for a 4A Area 13 outing on Monday, August 26. Winfield will play a Tigers team coming off a 25-11 non-league win over LAMP (Montgomery, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Shoals Christian drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Flame host Colbert County (Leighton, AL) to play the Indians in a non-league outing on Monday, August 26. The Indians come into the outing with a record of 0-4. Colbert County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Central (Florence, AL)
