Georgia High School Volleyball - Walker over Sprayberry

August 24, 2024: Marietta, GA 30062

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Walker Wolverines volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Sprayberry Yellow Jackets.

The Wolverines (12-6) will now prepare for their challenge against King's Ridge Christian (Alpharetta, GA). The Tigers enter the 1A Area 5 challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, King's Ridge Christian was beaten by Mount Pisgah Christian (Johns Creek, GA), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Yellow Jackets meet the Woodstock Wolverines (Woodstock, GA) in a 5A Area 6 challenge, on Tuesday, August 27. Sprayberry will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Roswell (Roswell, GA).
