The Lowpoint-Washburn Wildcats volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Leland Panthers to 0 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Wildcats now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dwight for a Tri-County game on Thursday, August 26. Lowpoint-Washburn will meet a Trojans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 2-0.
The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Yorkville Christian (Yorkville, IL). The Mustangs enter the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
