Indiana High School Football - River Forest knocks off Boone Grove

The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN) and the visiting Boone Grove Wolves (Valparaiso, IN), observed River Forest's football squad thwart Boone Grove by a count of 33-6.

The Ingots now own a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Lake Station Edison for a Greater South Shore - North contest on Friday, September 2. River Forest will play a Fighting Eagles squad coming off a 44-12 non-league loss to West Central (Francesville, IN). The Fighting Eagles record now stands at 2-1.

Coming up next, the Wolves play the South Central Satellites (Union Mills, IN) in a Greater South Shore - North contest, on Friday, September 2. Boone Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Satellites go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 32-16 non-league loss to Culver Community (Culver, IN).
