The Clio Mustangs football squad scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Glenn Bobcats to 8 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Thursday.

The Mustangs now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eaton Rapids for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 1. Clio will play a Greyhounds squad coming off a 28-6 non-league loss to Northwest (Jackson, MI). The Greyhounds record now stands at 0-1.

Coming up next, the Bobcats play the Birch Run Panthers (Birch Run, MI) in a Tri-Valley - Central battle, on Thursday, September 1. Glenn will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 2-0 record after their 56-20 non-league win over Carrollton (Carrollton, MI).
