The Colmesneil Bulldogs (Colmesneil, TX) football nudged the host West Hardin Oilers (Saratoga, TX), 20-19 in Thursday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the KIPP East End (Houston, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 2. Colmesneil will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 63-6 league loss to KIPP Northeast (Houston, TX).
