The Lakeview Spartans topped the host Harper Creek Beavers football team by a final score of 28-6 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Lakeview improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Spartans travel to River Rouge (River Rouge, MI) to confront the Panthers in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 1. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 2-0. River Rouge won 22-0 in their recent non-league outing against Cedar Springs (Cedar Springs, MI)

With the loss, Harper Creek moves to 0-1 on the season. The Beavers host Central (Battle Creek, MI) to confront the Bearcats in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 1. The Bearcats go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Central lost 34-27 in their recent non-league outing against Byron Center (Byron Center, MI)
