Michigan High School Football - Hazel Park prevails Imlay City

The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Hazel Park Vikings (Hazel Park, MI) and the visiting Imlay City Spartans (Imlay City, MI), observed Hazel Park's football squad defeat Imlay City by a count of 26-0.

The Vikings now own a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Marysville for a non-league test on Thursday, September 1. Hazel Park will confront a Vikings team coming off a 35-24 non-league loss to Almont (Almont, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Imlay City moves to 0-1 on the season. The Spartans host North Branch (North Branch, MI) to confront the Broncos in a Blue Water Area test on Friday, September 2. The Broncos go into the test with a record of 1-0. North Branch won 42-3 in their recent non-league test against Thurston (Redford, MI)
