The Marion Eagles football squad scored 68 points and restricted the host Lawrence Tigers to 16 in the Eagles non-league victory on Thursday.
The Eagles now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bear Lake for a West Michigan (8 Man) battle on Friday, September 2. Marion will play a Lakers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Bellaire (Bellaire, MI). The Lakers record now stands at 1-0.
