The Texas Tigers football team (Texarkana, TX), was tipped 38-33 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX)

The Rangers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Burleson (Burleson, TX). The Elks come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Burleson was tipped by Centennial (Burleson, TX), 42-13, in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Colleyville Heritage for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 2. Texas will meet a Panthers team coming off a 61-5 non-league win over Nimitz (Irving, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
