In Thursday's non-league game, the Madison Memorial Spartans (Madison, WI) football team knocked off the visiting Waukesha West Wolverines (Waukesha, WI), by a final score of 35-7.
The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Janesville Parker (Janesville, WI). The Vikings come into the Big Eight game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Janesville Parker toppled Milton (Milton, WI), 29-22, in a non-league game.
