The West Lincoln Rebels football squad scored 28 points and limited the host Cherryville Ironmen to 6 in the Rebels non-league win on Thursday.

The Rebels now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Foard for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 1. West Lincoln will play a Tigers squad coming off a 47-7 non-league loss to Bandys (Catawba, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.
