North Carolina High School Football - West Cabarrus sneaks past Porter Ridge

The West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC) football edged the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC), 10-6 in Thursday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wolverines face the Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 8. West Cabarrus will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record.

The Pirates (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Ragin' Bulls enter the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Hickory Ridge was nudged by Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC), 36-13, in a non-league bout.
