Monarch Coyotes (Louisville, CO) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Bear Creek Bears (Lakewood, CO), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Coyotes face the Lakewood Tigers (Lakewood, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 30. Monarch will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 2-2 non-league Denver South (Denver, CO).

The Bears now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Green Mountain for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 6.
