The Brighton Bulldogs softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Prairie View Thunderhawks to 8 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Brighton improves its record to 1-3 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Monarch (Louisville, CO) to clash with the Coyotes in a non-league game on Tuesday, August 30. The Coyotes come into the game with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Thunderhawks clash with the Holy Family Tigers (Broomfield, CO) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 26. Prairie View will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
