St. Cecilia Bluehawks (Hastings, NE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Central City Bison (Central City, NE), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Bluehawks now own a 1-0 record.
With the loss, Central City falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Bison host Lakeview (Columbus, NE) to battle the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 30. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
