In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Woodland Wolfpack volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Mt. Zion Bulldogs.
The Wolfpack (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Eagle's Landing (McDonough, GA). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Eagle's Landing nudged Pike County (Zebulon, GA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Drew (Riverdale, GA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, August 29. Mt. Zion will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record. The come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 league loss to Mt. Zion (Jonesboro, GA).
