The St. Petersburg Green Devils held off the visiting Northeast Vikings volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Green Devils now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Lake for a non-league test on Friday, August 26.
The Vikings (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Osceola (Seminole, FL). The Warriors go into the outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Osceola was tipped by Clearwater Central Catholic (Clearwater, FL), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
