Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Delta Eagles (Muncie, IN), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Patriots confront the Norwell Knights (Ossian, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 1. Jay County will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record.

The Eagles now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mississinewa for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 27. Delta will confront a Indians team coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Marion (Marion, IN). The Indians record now stands at 4-0.
