The Bristow Pirates routed the host Dewey Bulldoggers softball squad by a count of 12-1 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Pirates (12-1) will now prepare for their battle against Owasso (Owasso, OK). The Rams go into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Owasso was routed by Broken Arrow (Broken Arrow, OK), 4-3, in a league battle.

The Bulldoggers now sport a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Oklahoma Union for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 25. Dewey will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Caney Valley (Ramona, OK). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.
