The Seward Bluejays softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Crete Cardinals to 8 in the Bluejays league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Seward moves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Bluejays host Centennial (Utica, NE) to play the Broncos in a non-league game on Saturday, August 27. The Broncos come into the game with a record of 0-5. Centennial lost 11-1 in their recent non-league game against Lakeview (Columbus, NE)

In their next game, the Cardinals play the Fairbury Jeffs (Fairbury, NE) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, August 30. Crete will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Jeffs come into the game with a 0-7 record after their 9-5 non-league loss to Holdrege-Adams Central (Holdrege, NE).
