With the triumph, Lamar County moves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Trojans travel to Crawford County (Roberta, GA) to play the Eagles in a 1A D-I Region 4 contest on Tuesday, August 30. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 3-6. Crawford County lost 7-6 in their recent non-league contest against Marion County (Buena Vista, GA)

In their next game, the Knights play the Jackson Red Devils (Jackson, GA) in a 3A Region 2 contest, on Tuesday, August 30. Upson-Lee will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Red Devils come into the contest with a 6-1 record after their 12-5 non-league win over McIntosh (Peachtree City, GA).
