In Thursday's non-league contest, the Barr-Reeve Vikings (Montgomery, IN) volleyball squad were winner over the host Linton-Stockton Miners (Linton, IN), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Vikings battle the Covington Trojans (Covington, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 27. Barr-Reeve will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 4-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Southmont (Crawfordsville, IN).

With the loss, Linton-Stockton moves to 2-2 on the year. The Miners travel to Forest Park (Ferdinand, IN) to battle the Rangers in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 27. The Rangers go into the contest with a record of 3-2. Forest Park lost 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Evansville Mater Dei (Evansville, IN)
