In Thursday's non-league test, the host Lubbock Christian Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Brownfield Cubs.

The Eagles now have a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plainview for a non-league test on Saturday, August 27. Lubbock Christian will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Presidio (Presidio, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-13.

The Cubs (4-8) will now prepare for their test against Klondike (Lamesa, TX). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 12-9 record. In their last test, Klondike was knocked off by Wink (Wink, TX), 3-1, in a non-league test.
