The Maria Carrillo Pumas volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Casa Grande Gauchos to 1 in the Pumas non-league victory on Thursday.
The Pumas now have a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Redwood for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 30. Maria Carrillo will meet a Giants team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Monte Vista (Danville, CA). The Giants record now stands at 0-2.
The Gauchos (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Terra Linda (San Rafael, CA). The Trojans enter the non-league game with a 10-1 record. In their last game, Terra Linda gained a win over Montgomery (Santa Rosa, CA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
