The Del Oro Golden Eagles held off the visiting Pleasant Grove Eagles volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Golden Eagles now have a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln for a non-league test on Monday, August 29. Del Oro will confront a Fighting Zebras team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Rio Linda (Rio Linda, CA). The Fighting Zebras record now stands at 3-1.
The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Liberty (Brentwood, CA). The Lions enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Liberty was nudged by Livermore (Livermore, CA), 3-1, in a non-league test.
