With the win, Elk Grove upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Thundering Herd travel to Kennedy (Sacramento, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Monday, August 29. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 2-0.

The Pacers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to McClatchy for a Metropolitan Conference bout on Wednesday, September 7.
