The Navasota Rattlers volleyball team (Navasota, TX), was edged 2-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Gateway College Preparatory Gators (Georgetown, TX)

The Gators (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Rockdale (Rockdale, TX). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 15-4 record. In their last challenge, Rockdale nudged Florence (Florence, TX), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Rattlers encounter the Stafford Spartans (Stafford, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 26. Navasota will attempt to move on its 16-5 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 0-14 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Ball (Galveston, TX).
