Texas High School Volleyball - Gunter can't hold off Rockwall

In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Rockwall Yellowjackets volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Gunter Tigers.

The Yellowjackets (7-11) will now prepare for their battle against Bridgeland (Cypress, TX). The Bears come into the non-league battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Bridgeland nudged Lake Creek (Montgomery, TX), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Deer Park Deer (Deer Park, TX) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 25. Gunter will attempt to advance on its 15-4 season record. The Deer come into the battle with a 6-5 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Clear Creek (League City, TX).
