The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Walnut Mustangs (Walnut, CA) and the visiting La Serna Lancers (Whittier, CA), saw Walnut's volleyball squad beat La Serna by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Walnut upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Mustangs travel to West Covina (West Covina, CA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 30. The Bulldogs enter the test with a record of 1-4.

The Lancers (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Downey (Downey, CA). The Vikings enter the non-league test with a 5-2 record.
