The Thorndale Bulldogs volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host La Vega Pirates to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now have a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Taylor for a non-league game on Friday, August 26. Thorndale will meet a Ducks team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Shoemaker (Killeen, TX). The Ducks record now stands at 8-4.

The Pirates (1-8) will now prepare for their game against Little River Academy (Little River Academy, TX). The Bumblebees enter the non-league game with a 9-8 record. In their last game, Little River Academy gained a win over Jarrell (Jarrell, TX), 3-1, in a non-league game.
