The Ashley Screaming Eagle walloped the host East Carteret Mariners football team by a count of 62-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Ashley upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Screaming Eagle host East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league outing on Friday, September 1. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 1-1. East Bladen won 49-0 in their recent non-league outing against West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC)

With the loss, East Carteret moves to 0-2 on the season. The Mariners host Croatan (Newport, NC) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league outing on Friday, September 1.
